Writing:  We wrote about the Star Student of the Week.  We also wrote in our writing journal. We wrote about creating a wheelbarrow, ladder, and trap to catch a leprechaun.  We made sure to label our pictures.  We also played a consonant-vowel-consonant game where the students had to search the room for pots of gold that had a picture on them.  The students then had an answer sheet where they had to write the correct word in the corresponding spot.  Lastly, the students then read back the correct responses to the class.  For example (I like my hat.)

Art:  The students really enjoyed making their very own Leprechaun and saying if they caught a leprechaun how they would get his gold.  We also made traps to catch a leprechaun.  All of the St. Patrick’s Day projects turned out great.  Parents you should be very proud of your children.
