Jolly Phonics:
We learned the sound of the letter s. We like to sing songs and do actions for
each sound to help us remember them.
Reading: We read I Like
Me. We wrote about ourselves. We
also read I Like Myself and I’m Special I’m Me!
Popcorn Words:
This week we worked with our first sight Word I.
Math: We started our first math unit. We worked on the concept of same and
different, small and large. We also
practiced writing our numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Art: We completed a self-portrait project.
Social Studies: Our
Weekly Reader focused on raising our hands and following school rules!
Remember:
We have snack every
morning. Please remember to send a
healthy snack with your child each day such as a fruit or vegetable.
Also, please
remember our room is a peanut/nut free room due to allergies.
Bring Library Books on Mondays and Thursdays
We have gym everyday.
Please remember your gym shoes.
