on Curriculum

Jolly Phonics:
Our first letter S is next week.
Reading: We read The
Kissing Hand. We did many activities
that centered on the story. We also read Chester The Brave and Chester
Raccoon and the Big Bad Bully!
Popcorn Words:
This week we worked on Chester the Raccoon activities that
focused on the word a in which we had to color according to a color
code.
Math: We completed two Back to School Roll Add and Color
activities. We learned about our math
centers and had time to explore.
Art: We did a Chester the Raccoon project
that you can see when you come to Curriculum Night this upcoming Tuesday night.
Social Studies: Our
Weekly Reader focused on following school rules!

September 4th from 6:30-7:30 P.M.
We have snack every
morning. Please remember to send a
healthy snack with your child each day such as a fruit or vegetable.
Also, please
remember our room is a peanut/nut free room due to allergies.
Bring Library Books on Mondays and Thursdays
We have gym everyday.
Please remember your gym shoes.
Please check the green folder daily.
